Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a patient and adaptable 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs across local primary and secondary schools in the Bath area.

You will choose your own days with regular local bookings, providing tailored academic, emotional, and behavioural support in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs. Weekly pay via PAYE is offered, with hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in educational or care settings.
• Attributes: A patient, resilient, proactive, and naturally encouraging personality.
• Adaptability: Ability to step into different classroom environments and build rapport quickly.
• Requirements: Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and suitable references.
