Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a Sutton Coldfield school from January to July 2027. The child has suspected ASD and is non-verbal, with short breaks outside the classroom as needed.

Applicants should have Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferred), plus proven SEND experience and a strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum. Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
