TeacherActive is partnering with a mainstream primary school in Southport to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. The role provides consistent 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in Key Stage 1, helping with classroom activities, emotional regulation and social development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or SEND.
• Experience in Key Stage 1 in a mainstream primary school.
• Ability to support communication and emotional regulation.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach to learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for a child with ASC in KS1.
