Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in Trafford, starting after October half term. The role involves providing 1:1 and classroom support to pupils with SEND across KS3 and KS4, including those with ASD, ADHD and PMLD.

You will assist with behaviour management and, where required, personal care, working closely with teaching staff throughout the day. The school offers a nurturing environment and a dedicated team of consultants to help with

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience with pupils with ASD, ADHD and/or PMLD.
• Confidence providing 1:1 and classroom-based support.
• Experience supporting behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies.
• Willingness to support with personal care where required.

Responsibilities
