Job summary

TP Tutors in Stockport are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide tailored tuition for students in the SK8 area during weekday school hours.

You will support learners with SEN such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH, delivering personalised lessons, monitoring progress, and keeping clear records. A DBS update and UK right to work are required or underway.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience within the UK.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
• Ability to deliver personalised and differentiated learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Location: SK8, Stockport
Hours: Part-Time, School Hours (Weekdays)
Pay: £25 - £30 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide tailored educational support to learners in the SK8 area of Stockport. This rewarding role involves delivering personalised tuition during weekday school hours, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their academic goals.

You will work closely with learners who may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties, adapting lessons to meet their individual requirements and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
