Job summary

SEN Teaching Assistant needed at Philosophy Education, Ltd. in Hackney to support a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The role focuses on early learning activities, guiding engagement and interaction within the classroom and with peers.

Both experienced SEN teaching assistants and those with relevant child-care experience are welcome. Training will be provided and support from the SEND coordinator and class teachers is available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a pupil with SEN is preferred.
• Able to work in reception and with peers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis across all learning activities.
• Support the pupil with play and social interaction with peers.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEND coordinator to implement strategies.
