Job summary

SEN Teaching Assistant needed at Philosophy Education, Ltd. in Hackney to support a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The role focuses on early learning activities, guiding engagement and interaction within the classroom and with peers.

Both experienced SEN teaching assistants and those with relevant child-care experience are welcome. Training will be provided and support from the SEND coordinator and class teachers is available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a pupil with SEN is preferred.
• Able to work in reception and with peers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis across all learning activities.
• Support the pupil with play and social interaction with peers.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEND coordinator to implement strategies.

We are currently looking for a two SEN teaching assistants to join a really lovely school inHackney to support a pupil with SEN on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Roles

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a pupil with special educational needs on a1:1 basis. Both pupils are joining the school in reception and will require support in all aspects of learning, playing and interacting with peers and the wider school community.

The school are interested in applications from both experienced SEN teaching assistants and alsothose who have experience working with children with special needs in other settings.You will have good support from the school's SEND coordinator and class teachers and training will be given.
