Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Hereford to support a secondary student with autism and SEND. The role is full-time, long-term with an immediate start, delivering one-on-one support to help the student engage with the curriculum and participate in the school day.

You will join a mainstream secondary school and work closely with the student to promote learning, engagement and development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with autism and SEND.
• Experience providing 1:1 support in an education or similar setting.
• Good understanding of the needs of secondary-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a secondary student to help engagement with learning.
• Support student to access curriculum and school day.
