Job summary

The Supply Register is partnering with Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for St Andrew's Catholic Primary School. This full-time position supports a Year 2 pupil with ASD, focusing on access to learning, confidence building, and positive classroom participation.

Applicants should be patient, nurturing, and proactive, with strong communication and teamwork to collaborate with the teacher and SENCO. DBS update service preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ASD or additional needs is desirable.
• Experience in a Primary School setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD in a Year 2 classroom.

• Encourage independence while providing guidance and reassurance.
• Monitor progress and contribute to the child's ongoing development.

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (OLAAS CMAC) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant for St Andrew's Catholic Primary School.

This rewarding full-time role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 2 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school is looking for a patient, nurturing and proactive individual who can build positive relationships and help the child access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.

The Role

• Provide dedicated support to a pupil with ASD in a Year 2 classroom
