Milk Education are seeking a caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with autism in a South Manchester school. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and school team to provide personalised support throughout the day.
Experience in SEND or autism is preferred, with a patient, calm and nurturing approach. This role offers dedicated consultant support and opportunities to develop SEND and classroom skills within a supportive environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to provide consistent and personalised support throughout the school day.
Experience supporting children with autism, sensory needs, communication difficulties or social and emotional needs would be beneficial.
Previous experience is not essential. Transferable experience from childcare, youth work, mentoring, care, coaching or volunteering is welcomed.
This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
