Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a resilient SEN Learning Partner to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil with additional and complex needs. You will help them communicate, regulate emotions, develop independence and access school life.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, be calm and consistent, and adapt their approach day-to-day. All applicants will require safeguarding checks, DBS, and will have access to free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND and complex needs.

This isn't simply about sitting alongside a child in lessons. You'll help them communicate, regulate emotions, develop independence and successfully access school life.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous SEND experience
• Be calm and consistent when challenges arise
• Understand positive behaviour support
• Be comfortable adapting their approach day-to-day
• Build relationships without creating dependency

Perfect for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or SEN professional looking for their next school-based role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
