Job summary

Finstall First School is seeking a compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the staffing team, primarily to work in KS1 providing focused 1:1 support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role emphasizes building positive relationships with the child, parents, staff and professionals.

The post is term-time only, 20 hours per week (including 5 afternoons until 2.45pm). The fixed-term contract will be reviewed in 12 months with possible extension subject to EHCP

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant with EHCP 1:1 support duties.
• Term-time only, 20 hours per week, including 5 afternoons.
• Flexibility and reliability to support school ethos.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality 1:1 support for a pupil with EHCP.
