Job summary

Greenhead CE Nursery & Primary School is seeking an inspiring Teaching Assistant to support our Federation’s vision to inspire, support, believe and achieve in our happy school.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs and help with whole‑class teaching. The post runs from 2 November until August 2027 with potential extension, and requires experience with KS1/LKS2 and EHCP provision.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting 1:1 with special educational needs.
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils.
• Experience working with EHCP tailored provisions.
• Good knowledge of barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Work with Class Teachers to plan and deliver sequences of learning and tailored provision for children with EHCPs.
• Support whole-class teaching as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the federation to drive the school's vision.
