Job summary

The Federation of Emscote Infant and All Saints' CE Junior school is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with an EHCP. The role requires compassion, reliability and the ability to work closely with parents, carers and school staff.

It is a term-time position, 30.42 hours per week, with potential flexible working patterns to meet the child’s needs. The contract is fixed-term and funded through the EHCP.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally in education or SEND.
• Ability to provide intimate/personal care following a care plan.
• Ability to communicate with the child, parents/carers and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with EHCP funding.
• Support access to teaching and learning and foster independence.
• Safeguard and follow school policies and care plans.
• Assist with personal care needs as required (toileting, dressing, hygiene).
