The Fabulous Company is looking for a Senior Android Developer who wants to see their code used by millions of people around the world. This is an opportunity to work on a fast-growing product with a large user base that is frequently among the Top 10 most downloaded Health and Fitness apps that makes real change in people\'s lives. Joining Fabulous means you’ll be working in our senior level team of Android Developers and cooperating with an experienced CTO and an award-winning designer. We are a world-class Android team with a shared code between iOS and Android using J2OBJC. Kotlin is used in the day to day dev. Kotlin multiplatform is what we\'re going toward. We are a remote team with minimum meeting policy, trust, no daily standup, and remote since day 1 (founded 7 years ago).

Responsibilities

• Applying your technical knowledge across all stages of feature development
• Delivering high quality, modular and testable code, including business logic being shared with iOS app
• Taking part in preparing relevant project documentation
• Creating user interfaces based on mock-ups prepared by our UI/UX designers, including some neat animations
• Taking part in improving of our processes and standards

• Deep Knowledge of Android Java and Kotlin. Kotlin is Fabulous’ language.
• Great understanding of clean architecture, design patterns, and clean code.
• Experience developing, releasing and maintaining native Android applications.
• Capacity to work efficiently as part of a team; able to give and receive feedback.
• Capacity to write a succinct email and to communicate effectively in English.

• Any experience with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of MVI pattern
• iOS app development experience
• Java Script basics (used for tooling)
