About us

IntiQuan is Product Life Group’s global Center of Excellence in Pharmacometrics, Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, and Clinical Pharmacology, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Business Development & Sales to lead and execute our expansion efforts. This role is ideal for a scientifically-minded business development and sales professional who thrives in expert-driven sales and understands the nuances of drug development.

Role Overview

As the (Associate) Director of Expert Sales, you will drive revenue growth, engage with key stakeholders, and ensure client success through a hands-on approach to business development and sales. You will be responsible for approaching and winning new clients, growing the share of wallet at existing clients, and taking ownership for the process from the client request to the execution of a contract / SOW. Your primary contacts will include scientific experts in larger client organizations as well as translational leads, clinical pharmacologists, and development leads in biotech companies.

Your Impact

As Associate Director / Director, you will :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to our specialized field.
  • Engage in expert-driven, consultative sales, effectively communicating IntiQuan’s value proposition to scientific and executive stakeholders at clients.
  • Expand the client base, identifying and pursuing high-potential opportunities in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Grow the business and increase the share of wallet within existing client accounts
  • Coordinate, oversee, and support the process from client request to final proposal, ensuring alignment with client needs, industry expectations, and economic constraints.
  • Manage contracting processes, negotiating agreements and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Follow up with clients to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and refine business development strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in drug development.
  • Represent IntiQuan at conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
What You Bring
  • Extensive experience in B2B business development and sales in the healthcare service sector, ideally in the area of pharmacometrics or clinical development.
  • Strong business development and sales profile with a scientific background and a solid understanding of drug development.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling business discussions with (scientific) experts and leaders in the field.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to expand market presence and grow revenue.
  • Proven ability to drive expert-led sales discussions, and lead and execute the process from client request to executed contract.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events.

Location: Basel, Switzerland or Remote (Europe)
