Jobtailor in France is seeking a work-study student to support and optimize the group-wide insurance program. You will interact with all Group divisions and work closely with managers, brokers, and lawyers to manage premiums, certificates, endorsements, and claims.

The role requires a Master’s in Insurance or related field, strong knowledge of commercial insurance, and fluent English. You will engage with internal teams and external providers, contributing to procedures and governance.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Strong command of IT tools (MS Office, Google Drive).

• Rigour and organisation in managing daily internal matters and interactions with service providers.

Responsabilités

• Support in developing and optimizing the group-wide insurance program.
• Interact with all Group divisions and stakeholders including managers and brokers.
• Handle administrative tasks related to insurance contracts (premiums, certificates, endorsements).
• Participate in claims management across Transport, Liability, Property Damage and Motor.
• Monitor claims through indemnities in coordination with Accounting and subsidiaries.
• Provide operational teams with informed advice on contractual or legal issues related to liabilities and insurance.
• Contribute to drafting and implementing internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Group Insurance Manager within the General Secretariat, the work-study student will support in tasks that contribute to developing and optimizing the group-wide insurance program.
• You will interact with all Group divisions and work closely with stakeholders (branch managers, technical managers, in-house lawyers, brokers, experts, external counsel, etc.).
• Handle administrative tasks related to insurance contract management, notably issuing and processing insurance premiums, issuing certificates (group, by subsidiary or by site), contract endorsements, etc.
• Participate in claims management for the various divisions, in particular Transport, Liability, Property Damage, and Motor, and coordinate the actions of internal stakeholders according to requests from experts, brokers, or insurers (case management, file follow-up and updates, third-party recovery actions, reporting updates, etc.).
• Monitor claims through to insurer indemnities to be received or received, in coordination with Accounting and the Group’s subsidiaries.
• Provide operational teams with informed advice on contractual or legal issues related to liabilities and insurance.
• Contribute to drafting and implementing internal procedures.

Requirements

• Student in Master’s Year 1 or 2 in Insurance (Insurance Management, Risk and Insurance Management, Insurance Law)
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance (Commercial multi-peril, Liability, Optional coverages, Fleet motor insurance…)
• Strong command of IT tools such as MS Office and collaborative tools (Google Drive)
• Proficiency in English
• Proactive, autonomous, intellectually curious, with strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Rigour and organisation in managing daily internal matters as well as interactions with service providers (brokers, insurers, experts)
