Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or healthcare data compliance.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, FDA, GxP, and GDPR.
• Experience leading governance programs and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to define data ownership, stewardship, and training programs.
• Proven track record in data quality, privacy, and risk management.
• Experience with data standards such as HGVS, LOINC, SNOMED, HL7, FHIR.
• Ability to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive data governance framework for clinical genomics and oncology.
• Establish policies, procedures, and stewardship models aligned with HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, FDA, GxP, and GDPR.
• Provide strategic oversight for privacy, information security, and consent management for genetic and clinical data.
• Oversee protection and access controls for PHI and genomic data.
• Define data standards and interoperability across LIS, EHRs, genomic repos, and AI platforms.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for data quality, compliance, and governance effectiveness.
• Lead Data Governance Program Coordinator team and cross-functional partnerships.
• Manage budgets for governance programs and influence technology investments.
