Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training) to shape how clinical and research data power next‑gen AI models. This fully remote hourly contract role focuses on accuracy, lineage, auditability, and regulatory readiness across research and clinical teams.

You’ll define data policies, enable governed access for analytics and collaborations, and partner with scientists, IT, and compliance to uphold data quality and privacy in a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or implementing data governance in biotech or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory expectations for research and clinical data.
• Collaborative cross-functional work style with scientists, engineers, compliance and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and traceability.
• Self-directed and reliable in a remote async environment.

Responsibilities

• Govern biotech research and clinical trial data for accuracy, lineage, and auditability.
• Define and enforce data policies for classification, access, security, and metadata.
• Enable governed access to data for analytics and AI model development while protecting patient information.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting scientific validity or AI training.
• Collaborate across scientific, IT, compliance and business teams to align data standards and governance frameworks.
