Job summary

WPP Media Limited is seeking a Data Governance Director to enforce global data standards and taxonomy integrity across multiple markets and brands. You will transition data operations from manual checks to an automated Prevention–Monitoring–Correction framework, ensuring high data quality for global reporting and Optimus dashboards.

You will lead governance across AdOps workflows, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive data accuracy to a 95% target while managing cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of proven experience in Digital Data Governance, Taxonomy Management, or Media Data Operations.
• Strong AdOps background with hands-on experience in digital tracking, ad serving, and multi-market data compliance.
• Deep understanding of taxonomy architecture, dynamic naming structures, Accutics, GA4, server-side tracking, and campaign management workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multi-brand, multi-agency, and international teams.
• High level of autonomy, organization, and strategic thinking; clear communication of data governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforce global data governance standards and taxonomy integrity across luxury Maisons and markets.
• Lead the transition from manual checks to an automated Prevention–Monitoring–Correction framework.
• Ensure data quality for global reporting, Optimus dashboards, and WPP Open integrations.
• Oversee data operations practices and provide guidance on automated validation beyond basic checks.
