Axis Communications on the French Riviera (Sophia-Antipolis) is hiring a Software Engineer in Video Analytics to help shape the future of analytics software. You will develop insights from video streams to power world‑class products, writing production‑grade code and enabling end‑to‑end delivery.

You will collaborate with international teams, including experts in Sweden, covering embedded Linux, AI R&D, validation, and frontend engineering, from design through validation and deployment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, ideally with focus on imaging or video.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++, in Windows and Linux environments.
• At least 5 years of experience designing, developing and testing software products.
• Familiar with Git and/or Gerrit, MLOps, test automation, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge in cameras, imaging, software evaluation and embedded software is a big plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop cutting-edge technologies revolving around analyzing video streams to infer high-level information for products.
• Write code that enters products sold worldwide and makes a difference for customers.
• Participate in all phases of product development from inception to customer feedback.
• Collaboration with colleagues in Sweden across embedded Linux, AI R&D, validation, front-end, and other software engineers.
