Axis Communications on the French Riviera is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Video Analytics to join the Sophia-Antipolis R&D team. You will develop video analytics technologies to build world-class products, collaborating with a diverse, international group of engineers across software domains.

You will contribute from design to validation, writing robust, reusable code for products deployed worldwide. Fluency in English is required; French/Swedish are a bonus.

Qualifications

• A bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, imaging focus preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ on Windows and Linux.
• At least 5 years of experience designing, developing and testing software products.
• Experience with Git or Gerrit, MLOps, test automation, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cameras, imaging, software evaluation and embedded software.

Responsabilités

• Develop cutting-edge video analytics technologies and product features.
• Write robust code that goes into globally deployed products.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Sweden spanning embedded Linux, AI R&D, validation, frontend, and other software engineers.
