Job summary

Arrow is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to join our European engineering team. You will guide innovation by applying technical expertise to design solutions for our customers, working closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and craft winning architectures.

You will lead technical discussions, evaluate and select technologies, and support engineering and integration efforts across France and Europe. Fluency in French and English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of server/PC systems, networking, and storage.
• Understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Curious about innovative tech and how it changes work.
• Understanding of design, development and integration processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Act as the leading technical resource within the selling team.
• Serve as SME on multiple customer projects.
• Help develop, engineer and select technologies for client designs.
• Build relationships with the Sales Team to help customers understand and deploy a solution stack.
• Provide support to engineers based on areas of expertise and domain knowledge.
• Pursue continual professional development, including technical certifications with top partners.
• Travel to customers in France and occasionally elsewhere in Europe.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join a European engineering team in an international company with >22,000 employees. On a daily basis you will guide innovation by applying your technical knowledge to help creating solutions for our customers.

Technical Solutions Architect at Arrow typically focuses on:

• The leading technical resource as part of a selling team
• Contributing to multiple customer projects serving as a subject matter expert
• Helping to develop, engineer and choose the right technologies and components for customer designs
• Building relationships with our Sales Team helping customers and partners understand, adopt, and deploy a solution stack to solve their business problems
• Providing support to other Engineers in the team based on areas of expertise and domain knowledge
• Committed to continual professional development, including technical certifications with some of our leading technology partners, including Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Dell, HPE and others
• Visiting customers in France, and occasionally elsewhere in Europe'
• Working closely with the European Integration Centre team located in Budapest, as the interface between our customers and New Product Introduction team
• Building and managing Bill of Materials for the designs that we produce

• You are always curious to learn more about innovative technology that can change our way of living
• An understanding of design, development and integration processes
• You enjoy communicating at all levels with customers, partners, and the wider Arrow organisation – having strong written and verbal communication skills
• Results-oriented, proactive, confident under pressure and demonstrated skills in solution selling
• French and English full proficiency, a good command or German would be a strong asset
