Job summary

UPM is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Nancy or remotely in France. You will drive sales through technical expertise, coordinating complex projects and translating commercial priorities into practical solutions.

You will build strong customer relationships, lead end-to-end technical projects, and provide expert consultation on pressure-sensitive label materials, converting, and printing technologies. Fluency in English and French is expected.

• Experience with label converting and printing technologies.
• Commercial mindset to connect technical solutions with customer value.
• Customer-facing technical work or consultative selling experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales development through technical expertise and customer engagement aligned with account plans.
• Act as a customer-facing contact point for technical inquiries and support.
• Identify, shape and progress technically demanding opportunities from need to implementation.
• Provide expert consultation on label materials, converting, printing and labeling applications.
• Lead customer technical projects end-to-end with planning, coordination and risk management.
• Support product homologation, trials and new product implementation with clear criteria.
• Build trusted customer relationships and articulate value of UPM Adhesive Materials solutions.
• Gather customer and market intelligence to inform portfolio development.
