Voodoo is seeking a Technical Lead to establish the foundations of a new puzzle game studio in Paris/ Lisbon/Istanbul with relocation support. You will partner with the GM to structure the team, recruit, and implement the technical architecture from prototype to worldwide launch.

You will lead engineering practices, set the long-term strategy, work with product on the roadmap, and contribute hands-on coding as needed to push the game forward while ensuring scalable, high-quality live operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Technical Director or Technical Lead on casual games.
• 5+ years professional Unity experience on mobile titles, including live ops.
• Proven ability to grow and lead engineering teams.
• Creative, proactive problem-solver with strong communication.
• Willingness to switch between management and hands-on coding.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the GM to structure, recruit, and onboard the technical team.
• Define technical foundations for a new puzzle game, from prototype to launch.
• Create engineering practices, rituals, and collaboration processes.
• Define and execute long-term technical strategy aligned with product goals.
• Collaborate with product leadership on roadmap and rollout plans.
• Contribute hands-on coding when needed to ship features.
• Monitor product health and drive quality improvements.
• Support studio leadership in strategy, operations, and people management.
