Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer, is seeking a Systems Engineer in Paris to support the sales organization with pre-sales and technical matters. You will be the primary technical resource on calls, explaining features, specs, and integration.

The role requires 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales, LAN/WAN experience, and strong knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, and network security. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• 5-8 years in technical/pre-sales support or sales engineering.
• 5-8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Experience with Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, Network Security, IDS, Antivirus.
• Experience with RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPsec, Firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer on features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
