Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer in Île-de-France to support the sales team on technical matters from pre-sales to customer education, focusing on networking and security integrations. Based in Paris, you will partner with account teams to articulate product capabilities and deliver compelling technical demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales or systems engineering
• 5–8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Strong knowledge of DNS/NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Experience with Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, Network Security, IDS, antivirus
• Knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
• Strong presentation skills and English communication

Responsabilités

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre‑sales)
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Be conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post‑sales training.
