Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales organization with technical pre-sales and on-call expertise. The role focuses on qualifying leads, answering customer questions on features, specs and integration, and serving as the main technical resource on calls.

You will bring 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales and LAN/WAN administration, strong DNS/NFS/SMTP/HTTP/TCP-IP knowledge, and hands-on experience with VPN, IPsec, firewalls, and encryption.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5–8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, IDS, Anti Virus.
• Strong knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer on features, specifications, and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
