Kong is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business by helping customers understand the value of our API Management platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with open source technologies including NGINX and Docker, and be motivated to onboard and train customers.

This role requires strong listening and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead discussions with product managers and engineers. Join a fast-paced startup culture at Kong!

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a software engineer and/or sales engineer management experience.
• Ability to confidently lead discussions with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Familiarity with CD/CI pipeline and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support field sales in showing the value of the Kong API Management platform.
• Grow trusted client relationships throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
• Create technical documentation for implementations and services.
