Job summary

papernest is seeking a Senior Strategic Finance Manager to join our growing European scale-up. You will build models with a small team, partner directly with the CFO and executive committee, and shape the operating plan and the financial workstreams for equity and debt funding.

You will own the consolidated P&L, forecast all three financial statements, and drive automation of reporting. A strong English fluency is required, with French highly appreciated.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of finance experience with strong FP&A foundation and financial modelling.
• Experience in scale-up or fast-paced international group, ideally in B2C services or subscription models.
• Able to partner with P&L owners and challenge business teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse group performance (P&L and cash) vs last year and budget; write executive commentary.
• Own full P&L of platform business end-to-end; review P&L of energy, insurance, and carbon products.
• Forecast all three financial statements to support decision-making and external funding.
• Co-lead annual Operating Plan from unit inputs to arbitration with founders.
• Own consolidated cash forecast and Board-pack financials.
