Job summary

papernest is building a Strategic Finance team reporting directly to the CFO in Paris. This hands-on role involves building the models, working with the executive committee, and supporting the Operating Plan and equity/debt funding processes.

You will own the platform P&L end-to-end, drive forecasting, and deliver insights across performance, profitability, and cash flow for a multi-entity, international business. Fluency in English is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance with strong FP&A and controllership
• Experience in scale-ups or fast-paced multinational groups
• Ability to build complex models from drivers to financial statements
• Excellent English; French working proficiency valued

Responsibilities

• Analyze group performance (P&L and cash) against budget and year-ago figures; write commentary for exec committee and Board
• Own the full P&L of our platform end-to-end, from accrual reviews to contribution margin analyses
• Lead forecasting of all three financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to support decision-making and fundraising
• Co-lead the Operating Plan with founders; own consolidated cash forecast and Board pack finance section
• Partner with business teams on profitability deep-dives and economic models for partnerships
