Malt is seeking a Staff/Principal Platform Engineer in Paris to define and drive the long-term technical vision for the Malt engineering platform. You will shape core foundations, tooling, and autonomous workflows that empower engineering squads to ship faster and more securely.

You will lead architecture across backend and frontend, partner with SRE, drive platform-as-a-product mindset, and mentor engineers, while embracing AI-driven agent paradigms and scalable, enterprise-grade capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, Staff or Principal level in high-scale platforms.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and familiarity with modern web frameworks (Nuxt/VueJS).
• Experience building platform foundations, agentic workflows, and DevEx improvements.

Responsabilités

• Define the 2–3 year technical vision and roadmaps for Malt's engineering platform.
• Architect and consolidate platform foundations and agentic layer across backend/frontend.
• Prototype and embed autonomous AI agents in the software development lifecycle.
