Malt is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the future of its platform from Paris. You’ll own features from concept to deployment, collaborate with Product Managers and Designers, and drive architectural decisions that balance speed and quality.

You’ll thrive in a product‑centric, highly collaborative environment, building robust backend and frontend solutions using Java/Kotlin and TypeScript, while ensuring scalable, reliable releases and strong ownership of the codebase.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience in product environments (SaaS, fintech, marketplace).
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin; comfortable with backend architecture, APIs, and data models.
• Experience with TypeScript and eager to learn Nuxt/Vue.js.

Responsabilités

• Own features end-to-end from initial sketch to release and beyond.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand user needs and craft elegant solutions.
• Lead with strong opinions and challenge the status quo when it brings value.
• Mentor teammates, foster pair programming, review code carefully, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD, testing, observability, and monitoring to ensure scalable delivery.
