Malt is seeking a Head of Experience Systems & AI to define and scale the premium Malt UI across live interfaces. You will champion design tokens, automated QA, and a scalable design foundation while leading a small, cross-functional team of design and systems experts.

Reporting to the VP of Design, you will collaborate with three systems engineers to drive code generation, visual governance, and adaptive UI innovations in a thriving, inclusive environment at Malt's Paris office.

Qualifications

• Systems-minded professional who designs underlying rules and frameworks powering interfaces.
• Understanding of how LLMs handle structured data and how to guide UI layouts with context.
• Premium UI craft with ability to codify brand DNA into technical systems.
• Experience leading design-systems teams or engineering-adjacent squads.

Responsabilités

• Own the strategic direction, governance models, and technical roadmap for the Experience Systems & AI team.
• Set the UI execution bar: define standards for layout, motion, tokens, and responsive design.
• Oversee taxonomy, content logic, tone rules for generative UI outputs.
• Mentor a senior Product Designer (Systems & Craft) and a Content Designer (Semantic Systems).
• Automate code workflows: enable code generation and asset extraction in pipelines.
• Implement automated visual testing and governance into integration pipelines.
• Partner with systems engineers to explore context-aware, adaptive UI components.
