Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer based in France to lead and scale internal platform foundations for product teams and AI coding agents. You will own CI/CD, automation, observability, and secure software delivery, while shaping engineering standards and reusable tooling.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration across teams, and a focus on improving developer experiences and reliability in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-grade systems.
• Experience designing internal platforms with thoughtful abstraction and standardization.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and developer tooling.
• Security focus including shift-left security and SecDevOps practices.
• Product-oriented mindset toward internal platforms and tooling adoption.
• Practical fluency with AI coding agents and engineering environments.
• Hands-on leadership with code, infrastructure, pipelines, and tooling.
• Systems thinking to standardize, automate, and improve developer productivity.
• Excellent collaboration to influence teams and drive adoption.

Responsabilités

• Shape platform and infrastructure foundations used by product teams and AI agents.
• Improve the engineering development loop: local dev, CI/CD, deployment, feedback, and workflows.
• Define and drive engineering standards for testing, IaC, observability, reliability, and secure delivery.
• Build shared tooling, templates, and golden paths to reduce friction across the org.
• Own secure delivery by integrating security scanning, secrets management, dependencies, and software supply chain protections.
• Monitor security landscape as AI agents evolve and adjust practices accordingly.
• Improve repositories, conventions, tooling, docs, and test coverage for AI navigation and reliable results.
• Measure impact with DORA metrics and engineer feedback to continually improve developer experience.
• Provide hands-on leadership while contributing to code, infra, pipelines, and tooling.
