Lever, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager - Foundations & Enablement based in France to lead a cross-functional engineering team dedicated to building the foundations that empower other teams to move fast, securely and reliably.

You will own people development, performance, delivery and the technical roadmap, working across frontend and backend with shared platform concerns in a remote-first, globally distributed environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant software development experience with 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Comfortable leading engineers across frontend and backend with broad technical breadth.
• Experience owning platform, DevOps, security, developer tooling, or related initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team focused on delivery, people development, and process improvement.
• Balance the team’s technical roadmap with product priorities and trade-offs.
• Maintain engineering-wide standards for security, tooling, CI/CD, and developer experience.
• Partner with Infrastructure on shared platform concerns and ownership boundaries.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of coaching and knowledge sharing.
