Infinite Orbits in Toulouse seeks an experienced FPGA Team Lead to architect the next generation of onboard satellite equipment and guide the FPGA team.

You will collaborate with electronics, software and systems engineering to deliver highly reliable flight systems, mentor engineers and define robust verification processes.

This is a hands-on leadership role shaping long-term technology roadmaps for spaceflight missions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, CS or related.
  • 8+ years FPGA development experience, with 2+ years in lead role.
  • Expertise in SoC FPGA architectures and VHDL.
  • Experience with clocking, CDC, timing closure.
  • Hands-on with UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, DDR4, NAND Flash.
  • Experience pre-silicon simulation and on-hardware debugging.
  • Proven people leadership and project-management skills.
  • Ability to establish design standards and processes.

Responsabilités

  • Define end-to-end FPGA architectures for satellite equipment.
  • Drive technology roadmaps and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Systems and Software teams for integration.
  • Lead and grow the FPGA engineering team.
  • Set schedules, allocate tasks, manage risks.
  • Maintain design standards, VHDL guidelines, and testing protocols.
  • Mentor engineers and oversee verification activities.
  • Stay updated on FPGA and embedded systems advancements.
