Infinite Orbits in Toulouse is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to design high-performance FPGA solutions for our spaceflight core equipment, focusing on our 2nd generation camera and vision-based navigation.

You will collaborate with electronics, software, and systems teams, build CI/CD pipelines and modular testbenches, validate designs under mission conditions, and document decisions. This hands-on role drives the flight system's operational capability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven FPGA development experience with emphasis on performance optimization and hardware acceleration.
• Hands-on experience with SoC FPGA architectures and VHDL.
• Experience with pre-silicon simulation and on-hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and verification of FPGA designs.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement high-performance FPGA solutions for in-house core satellite equipment.
• Develop and integrate hardware accelerators to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with electronics, software and systems teams to ensure seamless integration with flight software.
• Build automated CI/CD verification pipelines and modular testbenches for FPGA designs.
• Document design decisions, testing protocols, and verification results for compliance and future reference.
