ThoughtLabs Belgium is looking for a ServiceNow specialist to configure, maintain and optimise HAM and SAM functionalities, supporting hardware and software asset lifecycles within a large IT environment.

The role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow experience, HAM, SAM (SAM Pro), ITAM knowledge, and CMDB expertise, plus excellent communication in English. Knowledge of CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM and ITIL certification are advantages.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
• Strong HAM experience.
• Strong SAM experience (SAM Pro).
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Good knowledge of CMDB and Configuration Management.
• Experience with asset lifecycle processes and licence management.
• Experience working in large or complex IT environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Very good command of English.

Configure, maintain and optimise ServiceNow HAM and SAM functionalities.

Support hardware and software asset lifecycle management.

Manage asset records, software models, licences, entitlements and related data.

Support software licence compliance, reconciliation and optimisation.

Ensure alignment between Asset Management and CMDB.

Analyse and improve asset data quality.

Troubleshoot HAM/SAM-related issues.

Support ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements and integrations.

Gather technical and business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.

Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Experience & Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow.

Strong experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Strong experience with Software Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro).

Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Good knowledge of CMDB and Configuration Management.

Experience with hardware and software asset lifecycle processes.

Experience with software licence management, entitlements and reconciliation.

Experience working in large or complex IT environments.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Very good command of English.
