Alan is hiring a User Researcher in Paris to influence product decisions through rigorous qualitative and quantitative research. You will work with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, gathering critical questions and designing studies that inform strategy across the product lifecycle.

You will run interviews, diary studies, surveys, and usability sessions, turning findings into actionable insights. Collaboration with analytics and data science will help tell a complete product story, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a product/user researcher in a tech environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in qualitative methods: interviews, diary studies, think-aloud usability testing, and direct observation.
• Solid quantitative research skills: survey design, sampling, crosstabs, core statistical concepts.
• Strategic mindset: partner with product stakeholders, tie findings to business impact.
• Compelling communication: translate complex findings into clear narratives for any audience.
• Experience mentoring junior researchers or non-researchers with actionable feedback.
• You're close to AI: familiarity with AI products or deployment considerations in production.
• You care about healthcare: Alan's mission matters.
• English fluency; French/Spanish a plus.
