Job summary

Cleanleaf is seeking a Solar Technician II to join our growing team. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on solar and battery installations, leading junior technicians, and documenting work in a CMMS. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong safety focus, and proficiency in reading schematics, SCADA/DAS systems, and OSHA regulations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background/DMV checks.
• English communication skills (oral & written).
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of solar plant construction and equipment interaction.
• Troubleshoot and repair SCADA/DAS systems and major solar components.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate integrity, initiative, safety and quality in all tasks.
• Supervise and train junior technicians.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar/battery installations.
• Document work in CMMS with accurate details and photos.
• Interface with SCADA/DAS to troubleshoot onsite issues.
• Provide technical support for customer issues.
• Complete tasks safely within time allowances.
