Job summary

IFF Grasse is seeking a (Senior) Scientist - Analytical Sciences to advance development and characterization of natural ingredients within R&D Naturals. You will lead analytical workstreams, interpret complex datasets from GC, GC-MS, LC and LC-MS, and mentor colleagues.

The role combines scientific leadership with hands-on experimental work, applying untargeted profiling, chemometrics and multivariate data analysis to translate findings into actionable insights that support project decisions.

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent experience in analytical chemistry or related field.
Experience interpreting complex analytical datasets.
Background in natural extracts, essential oils, or related matrices.
Experience leading scientific projects in an R&D setting.

Responsibilities

Lead analytical workstreams from questions to recommendations.
Interpret datasets from GC/GC-MS and LC/LC-MS and apply chemometrics.
Develop and implement advanced analytical methods and data-processing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues.
