The Senior Scientist - Analytical Sciences will support development and characterization of natural ingredients within the R&D Naturals organization, translating complex questions into analytical strategies that drive innovation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven ability to interpret complex analytical datasets and solve scientific problems.
• Experience with natural extracts, essential oils, botanical ingredients, flavors or other natural matrices.
• Knowledge of untargeted profiling, metabolomics, chemometrics and multivariate data analysis.
• Experience leading scientific projects or analytical workstreams within an R&D environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead analytical workstreams supporting development and characterization of natural ingredients.
• Interpret datasets from GC, GC-MS, LC and LC-MS analyses.
• Apply targeted and untargeted analytical approaches and multivariate data analysis.
• Develop, optimize and implement analytical methods and data-processing strategies.
• Translate findings into insights that support project decisions.
• Collaborate with R&D leaders and cross-functional teams to solve scientific challenges.
• Mentor scientists and contribute to analytical capability development.
• Explore emerging analytical technologies and AI-assisted approaches.
