Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a senior commercial and data protection counsel to draft, review, and negotiate high-volume contracts including SaaS, framework agreements, NDAs, and DPAs, ensuring GDPR compliance and risk mitigation.

The role collaborates with sales and product teams to accelerate deals, standardizes templates, and coordinates with external counsel on audits, incidents, and supplier contracts, requiring autonomy and strong business judgment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law (bac+5).
• Six or more years in commercial law and data protection, ideally in a law firm then in-house.
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating high-volume contracts in French and English.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and data-protection principles.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including framework, SaaS, NDAs, DPAs, and RFP responses.
• Protect D-EDGE's interests regarding term, exit, and liability.
• Support sales and product teams to accelerate deal closing and provide pragmatic advice.
• Standardise contract templates and processes.
• Review and manage supplier contracts, software licensing, and service provider agreements.
• Advise on software licensing, data use, terms, and business-model changes.
• Advise on GDPR, data transfers, cookies, and policies.
• Prepare for AI Act compliance and work with external counsel on data incidents and audits.
• Coordinate external law firms and manage confidential files.
