Photoroom, Paris-based and remote-friendly, seeks a Privacy and Commercial Counsel to own privacy compliance and commercial contracting. You’ll work closely with the Head of Legal and cross‑functionally with sales, growth, tech, and people teams to navigate data protection laws and support business needs.

With 3–5 years of privacy and/or tech‑focused legal experience and a Master’s in law, you’ll draft DPAs, DPIAs, LIAs, and manage B2B agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience in data protection/privacy
• Experience drafting compliance docs (DPAs, DPIAs, LIAs)
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
• Strong written and spoken French and English
• Business-minded approach and ability to partner with ML/tech teams

Responsabilités

• Lead GDPR compliance operations and DPIAs; manage data subject requests end-to-end
• Embed privacy in product development and review data processing practices
• Monitor GDPR and privacy laws; brief teams on regulatory changes
• Grow into Data Protection Officer role as program matures
• Own commercial contracting needs: review, draft and negotiate sales agreements
• Support Head of Legal on trademark registrations, corporate and labour matters
