Centre People Appointments in Paris is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to act as the local HR subject matter expert. You will support employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance with French employment law, serving as a link between employees, managers, and regional HR teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR operations, strong knowledge of French law, and experience in a multinational environment. The role offers hybrid work (50%), with a €60,000 annual salary plus a 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or related field; professional HR qualification preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
• Strong knowledge of French employment law, labour regulations, and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience working in a multinational environment.
• Retail/fashion/cosmetics industry experience is advantageous.
• Fluent English and French communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert guidance on French employment legislation, labour regulations, and HR compliance matters.
• Support employee relations including disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and workplace matters.
• Manage employee lifecycle administration including contracts, changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Manage payroll inputs, payroll validation, reconciliation, and employee payroll enquiries.
• Administer employee benefit programmes and coordinate with benefit providers and brokers.
• Ensure compliance with statutory HR requirements including documentation, registrations, social insurance, and reporting.
• Support HR audits, regulatory reviews, and communication with external authorities.
• Partner with business leaders, regional HR teams, Legal, Finance, and external providers on HR initiatives.

A global Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to join its EMEA HR team in Paris.

The Senior HR Advisor will act as the local HR subject matter expert, supporting employee relations, HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment legislation. The role will serve as a key link between employees, managers, external partners, and regional HR teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations experience, deep knowledge of French employment law, and the ability to support a fast-paced international environment.

Main Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent English and French communication skills

Conditions

Location: Paris, France

Working Style: Hybrid (50%)

Salary: €60,000 per annum depending on experience + 10% bonus

Job Type: permanent, full-time
