Senior People & Culture Advisor – Paris
We are looking for a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our Paris office and become a key member of our EMEA People & Culture team. Working closely with the Senior People & Culture Manager for Paris & Casablanca, you will support both offices by delivering a proactive, high‑quality People & Culture service and acting as a trusted advisor to Partners, managers, and employees.
What will you do?
- Partnering with leaders and teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to Partners, managers, fee earners, and colleagues.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- Support engagement initiatives, talent reviews, salary reviews, and people‑related business planning.
- Managing the employee lifecycle
- Support onboarding, promotions, probation management, family leave, absence management, and off‑boarding processes.
- Work closely with payroll and recruitment teams to ensure a seamless colleague/employee experience.
- Help create an inclusive workplace culture where people feel supported, recognised, and empowered to succeed.
- Talent acquisition and employer branding
- Partner with Recruitment Centre of Excellence to attract exceptional talent.
- Work on Early Careers recruitment initiatives locally alongside the wider team.
- Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen market presence and talent pipeline.
- Learning, development and career growth
- Advise stakeholders on local and global learning and development programmes.
- Support career development initiatives and help colleagues reach their full potential.
- Global mobility
- Manage and coordinate international assignments and secondments.
- Work closely with Global Mobility specialists and external providers to deliver an excellent service.
- Data, projects and continuous improvement
- Maintain high standards of data quality and HR governance across systems.
- Analyse and report on people metrics to support effective decision‑making.
- Lead and support local and international HR projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery and drive innovation across the People & Culture function.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). English is essential.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of French employment law and HR practices.
- Experience within a law firm and/or professional services environment is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
- Confidence working with HR systems, people data and emerging technologies, including AI.
- Highly proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and integrity.
