Job summary

Combo in Paris area is seeking a Sr Full-stack Software Engineer to join the Payroll squad. You will work on a robust HR SaaS for SMBs, implementing payroll calculations, tax deductions and social declarations, while building scalable, accessible interfaces and AI-powered tooling.

You will mentor the team, collaborate with product, design and QA, and help advance the engineering culture in a multinational environment. A strong Node.js/React background and 6–7 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack background on Node.js / React.
• Experience with large React code bases and architecture.
• 6–7 years of software development experience in tech companies.
• Experience with remote teams and English-speaking.

Responsibilities

• Build an HR SaaS that is genuinely useful and meaningful for its users, with a real social impact.
• Implement new features related to payroll calculation, tax deduction and social declarations.
• Build a performant and reliable payroll engine.
• Design and build intuitive, accessible and performant user interfaces that make complex payroll processes simple for our users.
• Work with hairy business rules and fascinating user needs.
• Leverage AI tools in daily work to ship faster and with higher quality, and help the team adopt best practices around them.
• Contribute to our Engineering culture and promote it.
• Work with passionate teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Quality Engineers, Customer Support and other colleagues in a friendly and international environment.
