Job summary

Back Market is seeking an experienced payroll and People Operations professional to own the French payroll for ~300 employees and contribute to HR automation. Based in Paris or Bordeaux, you’ll collaborate with external providers and internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance across France.

You’ll be part of an exciting HR transformation, leveraging Workday and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years hands-on experience processing French payroll.
• Fluency in French and English for international communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end French payroll process for ~300 employees in-house.
• Collaborate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the HR automation roadmap and payroll prep with Workday and AI.
