Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Senior Forward Deployed Engineers to lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for our strategic customers. You’ll own architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and set engineering standards for deploying AI at enterprise scale.

You’ll collaborate with Deployment Strategists, design agentic systems, manage data readiness, and drive measurable outcomes across deployments while staying at the forefront of AI tooling and frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with familiarity in others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics across platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Strong Salesforce platform knowledge: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Entrepreneurial, get-things-done mindset with focus on impactful delivery.
• Mentored engineers and created reusable assets and playbooks.
• Clear, credible communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executives.
• Curiosity about evolving AI/data landscape and piloting new tools and models.
• Willingness to travel ~25% with customer engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce’s strategic customers—from architecture decisions through production handoff.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, and integration patterns for enterprise environments.
• Own the data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness for AI applications across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, or orchestration.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting across engagements.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs quickly with judicious decision making.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair sessions, and shared work.
• Surface field insights to Product and Engineering for roadmap input.
• Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate complex challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
